B'aramin Dragonsona

Here Beginneth Epic Description!!! *deep breath*

WOO!!T I finished mah entry for Cheeko's Dragonsona Contest!!!
Super excited to do this!!!

So here I be, as a dragon, or dragon hybrid...whatever
My name comes from a Hebrew word meaning "created thing" or "created kind",
basically carrying the notion that I am a creature created and loved by God and as such have a meaning and a purpose for my life. Exactly what that is, I have yet to find out...

I've always had a fondness for Asian cultures, their food, their histories, and their art
so my dragonsona carries many Eastern traits, such as my looooong tail, antlers, and epically messy mane (My hair is super thick and wavy). I also love prehistoric animals, mammoths, dinosaurs and the like, but especially saber-toothed cats. So my 'sona is very cat-like in body shape, with fireproof fur, tough skin (not as tough as scales though, I can still get pretty scratched up), and of course those freaking steak knives I call teeth. Despite their fierce appearance, they really aren't particularly useful in eating or biting, so they basically are just there for show, make me look meaner than I really am. Unlike the Doctor I am ginger...and proud of it!

For the contest you have three attributes to chose from for your dragonsona: fangs, fire, and flight. I chose fire and flight:

FIRE
My fire is blue, because blue is my favorite color for starters, and because it's extremely hot. I don't breathe fire very often, usually when I get pretty cheesed off at someone, or out of pure frustration. I am not the kind of dragon that wears her emotions on her sleeve, so to speak, and I am pretty darn good at keeping my real feelings suppressed. Keeping the lid on my fire for long periods of time lets it heat up to an impressive temperature, and when triggered, is a frack ugly place to see me in.

FLIGHT
Flying is pretty easy for me, my head's already in the clouds most of the time lolz.
I'm a bit of a roller coaster junkie, so my flight style involves alot of smooth looping and diving maneuvers at high speeds.

I also had to have one aspect of my persona that expresses emotion. My 'sona is bioluminescent, with intricate markings all over my body that used to glow gold in varying degrees of brightness depending on the intensity of my feelings. I say used to...because these past several months have been extremely difficult for me emotionally, having to deal with overwhelming frustration in a lot of areas of my life, and being too dang stubborn to vent it. So now its like something shorted out or snapped and my glow is kinda out of whack. Now one side of my body glows in red geometric/tribal patterns, while the other glows in blue floral/henna-like patterns. As painful as it was to receive these new markings, it's absolutely beautiful and I WILL do a picture of them full-body someday.


Yes, I do have several hoodies in that particular style, but not those colors...sadface
